I tried renting again today after installing the Quicktime Update, and played the rental without a problem. Thanks Apple! User profile for user: vaughn94 vaughn After much pulling out of the hair, I found a fix for myself. It may help someone else. This is what I had to do: 1. Instead switch to the mini player mode found under Advanced.

Open your movie folder where the rental is. Right click on the rented movie and select "Play". It will open in a regular window, but you should be able to click on the control for full screen at the bottom of the play control. I hope this helps someone else To hard crash each device is a bit different for example on the iPhone you press and hold the power button and the home button until it restarts. You can check that your internet speed is by doing an internet speed test using a free online tool, such as Speedtest.

Purchased movies will show up as long as you are signed in to the same Apple ID that you used to purchase the movies. To start with, restart your device, and see if the movies then show up. You can see that by going Settings, and selecting Account. It will say what Apple ID is currently signed in. Then allow Apple TV to sync, and update all of the settings for your account the movies you purchased should show in the Library on the Apple TV app, or in the Videos app.
